Church of the Nativity of the Virgin

BRENON

This church was rebuilt at the end of the 17th century. It was part of the diocese of Fréjus and was a viguerie of Castellane. Façade and roof were renovated in 2015.

A staircase leads to the esplanade that forms the church's porch. A small premise has been attached to the back of the building. The entrance to the nave is via a beautiful arched door with a dressed stone frame. You can see a four-lobed oculus situated under the double bell wall, supporting two bells of different sizes. A cemetery is adjoining the church.
