Starting out from Lorgues, turn left from the Tourist Information Point parking area and then, at the roundabout, leave Lorgues on the D10 towards Les Arcs-sur-Argens. Pedal through the vineyards on a road with a road verge. At Château l'Arnaude, turn left onto the D 10. After a long descent that ends in bends through the trees, reach Taradeau <10 km>.

Go through the village and follow the D 73 towards Flayosc. Climb the hill until you come to a curve indicating the Taradel tower and chapel (a beautiful panorama). With your eyes and head filled with the beautiful scenery, hop on your bike for another 1km climb to the orientation table on a rocky outcrop overlooking a keep.

The route continues through pretty hillsides and estates lined with low walls and oak trees providing much-needed shade. Turn left onto the D 57 towards Flayosc. Signposts will lead you to the village of Flayosc (picturesque village on a conical hillock, medieval streets, arts and crafts) via an alternative 4 km round-trip route. Then cross the pretty hamlet of Flayosquet (Roman necropolis, oil mill).

Turn left onto the D 49 towards Ampus. This is the start of a 7 km climb through shady woods and pretty countryside. When you reach the Col de la Grange, you'll be rewarded with a peaceful stretch of countryside and, a little further on, a lovely view of the village of Ampus, which you can visit (fortified village, ruins of a castle) <31.5 km>.

Back on the D 49, climb up and head towards Tourtour. Pass the residential village of Saint-Pierre de Tourtour and the pine forest before arriving at the beautiful panorama over the pretty houses of the charming village of Tourtour <40.5 km>. Savour the beauty of this "village in the sky", cross through the medieval villas, and take the D 51 to the left.

The descent is superb, with breathtaking panoramic views of all the massifs in the distance. Don't miss the orientation table, then continue on to the magnificent village of Villecroze (medieval village clustered around the ruins of the castle, troglodyte dwelling, Tuscan garden), where a stop is a must to discover the caves, the waterfall (toilets nearby), and get lost in the narrow streets <46.5 km>.

Back on your bike, head out of the village and pedal along the D 557 through the vineyards. At the roundabout, turn left onto the D 560 and then follow the D 10 towards Lorgues. This section is quite busy, but has a good verge for cyclists. Continue on the D 10 through the vineyards until you reach Lorgues.
