The village of Vérignon, at 850 m of altitude, is situated at the heart of a magnificent forest of oak trees, one of the most beautiful of Provence.
The nature around Vérignon is splendid. The tormented trunks of these centuries-old oaks add a fantastic atmosphere to the walks in the forest.
Located on the Departmental 49, the milestone known as "La pierre plantée" is a Roman vestige from the 2nd century AD.
The Notre-Dame-de-Liesse chapel is a votive chapel perched at an altitude of 991 m between the communes of Aups and Vérignon - It is not known when it was built.
The Saint-Priest chapel, located at an altitude of 1,066 m on the same mountain range as the Notre-Dame-de Liesse chapel, seems to have been erected in 1098.
