The Logis du Pin inn was one of the oldest inns in France.
This establishment is still more or less the same as it was in 1579 when Hubert de Vins housed there while his incendiary companies set fire to the villages of La Martre and Châteauvieux, guilty of belonging to lords opposed to the Catholic league.
On March 3rd, 1815, Napoleon I stopped there to have lunch with Cambronne and Bertrand.
Today it houses the Bistrot de Pays® la Mérenda.
