It is on Belle-Île-en-Mer that Sarah Bernhardt, nicknamed “The Scandalous Divine,” delves into the labyrinth of a glorious past filled with memories and settling of scores.
She insists on remaining the international icon she was during her career by asking Pitou, her faithful servant, to portray the various characters who shaped her life.
