The hike can be done in both directions.

The nearest parking area in Régusse is about 2 km after the hamlet of Villeneuve, on the Chemin de la Tour, near the green cistern. Take the track on the left and go straight on for 1 km.

When the Sainte-Croix lake level is high, the practicability of this path may be affected (parts flooded, mud, etc.). It may be necessary to temporarily change to a parallel path (if available) or return to the starting point.
