As a child, I helped my grandfather, a shepherd, and grew up surrounded by the mineral world of the Verdon Regional Nature Park; then, upon returning from a VIA experience in Central and East Africa, I decided to return to that world. After working for a few years in the construction industry, I first opened my natural stone import business, and then my marble workshop in the old cowshed in 2013. As a self-taught artisan influenced by Egyptian factory workers, local craftsmen, and artists in this field, I transform this noble material according to requests and inspiration, so you can find joy in it every day. Stone carving and engraving classes are also offered upon request in La Martre from April through October. Since 2024, art has taken on an increasingly prominent role in the workshop, with the creation of the “Soldier for Peace” sculpture in Carrara marble in 2025 for the 3rd Rama de Canjuers festival and several commissions for lithographic engravings.
