Sainte-Croix lake Festival - 3 Days of Celebration in the Heart of the Verdon

From September 11th to 13th, 2026, the villages around the Sainte-Croix lake will be in a festive mood!
For three days, Aiguines, Baudinard-sur-Verdon, Bauduen, Les Salles-sur-Verdon, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, and Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon invite you to enjoy a weekend filled with water sports, cultural heritage, nature, activities, and festive moments.

Friday, September 11th
Aiguines

-    Scarecrow Festival
-    Introduction to rowing by the Aviron Club du Verdon from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Ages 16 and up – Requirement: must know how to swim – Registration required at +33 (0)6 75 48 33 82 – at the Galetas Beach – Free.
-    Free entrance to the Museum of Woodturning from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
-    Woodturning demonstration by the Escoulen Woodturning School in front of the museum from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
-    Sustainable development workshop with Cristelle – CCLGV from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-    Pétanque competition "à la mêlée" – registration at 2 p.m.; draw and start of matches at 2:30 p.m. – prizes awarded at the end of the tournament.
-    Aperitif with a marching band at 7 p.m.
Bauduen
-    Scarecrow Festival.
-    Large book giveaway on the pier all day long.
-    Exhibitions:
     •    “From the Need for Water to the Construction of the Dam” by EDF & Photographs by Niko at the Cultural Center.
     •    Photographs by C. Parodi & Drawings by D. Tomatis at the rectory.
     •    Postcards titled “Bauduen: Between Valley and Reflections” at Le Petit Four.
Les Salles-sur-Verdon
-    Exhibition "A site, a history" at the Tourist Office from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon
-    Open day at the Valley Memory Museum, with an exhibition by EDF all day long.

Saturday, September 12th
Aiguines

-    Scarecrow Festival.

Les Salles-sur-Verdon
-    Scarecrow Festival all day long.

-    Exhibition on the flora of the Verdon by the La CADE association, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the community hall.
-    Open day at the nautical centre from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - awareness activities, introductory sessions, workshops, and demonstrations.
-    Sustainable development workshop with Cristelle – CCLGV, 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the boules court.
-    Horseback ride to the memorial of the old village from 3 to 5 p.m.
-    Giant wooden games at the Sainte-Anne square, with the Thiercelieux association 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the boules court.
-    A 30-minute introductory session on electric scooters with Trott’in Verdon 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
-    Apéritif reception at 6:30 p.m.
-    Provençal dinner party with live music by the band Musicatus - Registration required : at the City Hall by calling +33 (0)4 98 10 63 56 before September 6th.
-    Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on the Margaridon Beach.
Moustiers-Sainte-Marie
-    Free guided tour of the Faïence Museum at 9:30 a.m. - Reservations at +33 (0)4 92 74 61 64.
-    Free boat rides from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cadeno Nautical Centre.
Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon
-    Open day at the Valley Memory Museum, with an exhibition by EDF all day long.

-    “Les Maires se mouillent” - pedal boat race at 10 a.m., followed at 12:30 p.m. by the awards ceremony and a toast.

-    Screening of Jacques Krier’s 1957 film “À la découverte des Français” in the afternoon.
-    Dinner at 8 p.m. (registration required at the City Hall at +33 (0)4 92 77 84 10) with live music on the water by the duo “Joie de Jazz.”
