In 1996, Bernard André, mayor of Bauduen, sought to revive the olive groves, most of which had been abandoned since the devastating frost of 1956. The goal was to reduce the risk of wildfires and improve the environment.
Many years later, the Association for the Revival of the Bauduen Olive Grove is proud to present a restored olive grove, a signature feature of the landscape at the entrance to our village.
