Bridge of the Galetas

AIGUINES

The Galetas bridge is a road bridge at the start of Sainte-Croix lake and the end of the Verdon Gorges.

It is located between Aiguines and Moutiers-Sainte-Marie and links the departments of Var and Alpes de Haute-Provence.
The bridge spans the Verdon as it leaves the Gorges, offering a postcard view of the Gorges on one side and Sainte-Croix lake on the other.

Verdon Gorges

The Verdon Gorges forms the biggest canyon of Europe: it’s an area where space and vastness are mixing. In the limestone of Haute Provence plateau, the river dug a 25 km long canyon, 700 m deep in places.
