There is only one direction to explore, regardless of where you enter the region: La Martre, Châteauvieux, Brenon, Le Bourguet, Trigance... The route continues through the towns of Comps-sur-Artuby, Bargème, La Roque Esclapon, and La Bastide.

Bridge of la Serre, called "bridge of Madam"

The bridge of the Serre, called as "Bridge of Madam" in La Martre. A very pretty single-arched bridge built over the Artuby in the XVIIIth century. It is located in a magnificent setting. Pass the old sawmill and go to the unexpected encounter of the Artuby Gorges

Ruin of the chapel and oratory of Sainte-Marthe

A few meters from the village, in the direction of Châteauvieux, the ruins of the old chapel of Sainte-Marthe, patron of the village, inside the apse an oratory surrounded by greenery, a bench awaits you for a break.

Château Rima

Former castle of La Martre, property of the bishopric, it dominates a vast green plain. A large part of the local production is at your feet: fields of vegetables, cereals and potatoes.

Situated in the valley of the Artuby, behind the Brouis moutain, this peaceful village built on the hill-side is dominated by the ruins of its primitive castel. Here is the blue, green and gold country.

Fountain and washhouse

The presence of this fountain is attested since 1842, but it is probably much older. 1909 marks the date of a restoration and the installation of the distribution plate.

Bread oven

This is the communal oven that was used for cooking for all the inhabitants of the hamlet. Nowadays, it is used occasionally for the hamlet's festivities.
