A Vertical Kilometre is 1000 metres of ascent in the shortest possible distance. It will be used for tests, and exercises to improve your climbing.
Marks are placed every 100m of ascent, they serve as reference points during your ascent, or to carry out your training by splitting the ascent.
It is essential that we respect the work of the farmers and other landowners who welcome us onto their land: Do not cut the routes through the meadows (and do not picnic or play ball, etc...) in what are forage harvesting areas, so that the troops do not escape. Close all electric fences tightly (and do not damage them). Also, do not disturb the animals. Greet people with a friendly "hello", and of course take back all your rubbish!
